One of the most important goals at Greater Purpose Youth Center is to make a difference in the life of a child. But when some are left out it leaves us all a bit poorer, that's because giving a child a safe and nurturing environment benefits everyone. By exposing them to experiences that will help them grow up into responsible, successful adults, we make the community a better place to live.
Through a variety of fun and rewarding activities, Greater Purpose Youth Center programs teach youth important values such as responsibility and respect, while they gain confidence and self-esteem.
Greater Purpose Youth Center after school and summer programs enables us to see first hand the excitement on a child's face when they've made their first 100 on a spelling test or when they've made their first basket in a basketball game. The reward is priceless!! Our goals are to motivate youth to set and attain high educational and career goals through exposing them to a variety of cultural, educational and recreational programs. To improve the awareness of various career paths... To foster a mentoring relationship between youth and business professionals... To give them a sense of ownership to the community.
At GPYC we recognize that low income youth have few opportunities to attend events on their own. We give them the opportunities they might not have otherwise. Your support can make this and many more wonderful things happen for our youth, through your generous donation we can send a child to camps, tours, workshop, and field trips.
All donations are tax deductable as GPYC is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation."
